Additive manufacturing has truly revolutionized the way parts, tools and components are created. Laser powder-bed fusion additive manufacturing utilizes a system of lasers to selectively fuse layers of fine metallic powders. In this way, AM can produce complex features and geometries which are difficult/impossible to achieve using traditional manufacturing methods. By employing multiple lasers at once, production times can be dramatically reduced. Print large parts in a fraction of the time, or print identical multiples of the same component for increased production volume; multi-laser SLM systems will save time and money.
